About Founder
The founder of Gynacem Seeds began his journey in the fertile plains of Punjab, where he witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by smallholder farmers. Growing up in a farming family, he understood that the quality of seeds was the single most important factor determining crop yield and farmer prosperity.
After completing his education in agricultural sciences, he spent over a decade working with national and international agricultural research institutions. This experience gave him deep insight into hybrid seed development, plant breeding methodologies, and the critical importance of genetic purity in commercial seed production.
In the early 1990s, he established Gynacem Seeds with a clear mission: to provide Pakistani farmers with high-quality, scientifically developed hybrid seeds that could deliver consistent, high yields across diverse agro-climatic conditions. Starting with a single seed processing facility and a small team of dedicated agronomists, he built the company through relentless focus on quality, innovation, and farmer satisfaction.
Under his leadership, Gynacem Seeds developed its first indigenous hybrid maize varieties, which quickly gained recognition for their superior germination rates, disease resistance, and yield potential. The company expanded its operations to include wheat, rice, and vegetable seed varieties, establishing trial plots across Punjab to validate performance under real farming conditions.
His philosophy centers on the belief that seed companies must work in close partnership with farming communities. He pioneered Gynacem's farmer support programs, which provide free agronomic advisory services, field demonstrations, and training workshops to thousands of farmers every season.
Today, Gynacem Seeds operates state-of-the-art processing facilities, maintains ISO-certified quality management systems, and serves a network of dealers and distributors across Pakistan. The founder's vision continues to guide the company's commitment to agricultural excellence and farmer prosperity.
